League Division 1: 5th (of 21) - 19 wins, 10 draws, 11 losses; 48 goals scored, 38 goals conceded

QPR continued play in League Division 1, finishing fifth, again as the top London club. In the FA Cup, QPR were knocked out in the fifth round by Luton Town in a replay. In the League Cup, QPR were knocked out in the third round by Bury. In the Simod Cup, they were knocked out in the first round by Reading. Prior to the season, QPR did two tours. First was a three game tour of Norway for the E-Cup Tournament. Second were a pair of tournaments in the Netherlands, the NAC Breda 75th Jubilee International Tournament and the AS Alkmaar Toernooi. Following the season, QPR were invited to represent England in the Presidents Cup held in South Korea.
