League Division 1: 9th (of 20) - 14 wins, 11 draws, 13 losses; 43 goals scored, 37 goals conceded

QPR continued play in League Division 1, finishing just above mid-table. In the FA Cup, QPR were knocked out in the third round by Manchester United after two replays. In the League Cup, QPR were knocked out in the fifth round by Nottingham Forest. In the Simod Cup, they were knocked out in the semi final by Everton. Prior to the season, QPR travelled to Sweden and Denmark for a five game tour.
