QPR continued play in League Division 1, finishing mid table. In the FA Cup, QPR were knocked out in the third round by Carlisle United. In the League Cup, QPR reached the Final and lost to Oxford United. (Note: I have guessed that the Carlisle FA Cup 3rd Rd match was postponed from 4 Jan as that was the date set down in the initial fixtures.)
