QPR continued play in the Championship, finishing below mid table. In the FA Cup, QPR were knocked out in the third round by Milton Keynes Dons. In the Carabao Cup (previously the League Cup), QPR were knocked out in the second round by Brentford. Prior to the season, QPR travelled to Germany for two matches.
