League Championship

League Championship: 4th (of 24) - 23 wins, 11 draws, 12 losses; 60 goals scored, 44 goals conceded

QPR returned to the Championship, finishing fourth and thus entering the playoffs where they reached the Final and defeated Derby County to promote back to the Premier League. In the FA Cup, QPR were knocked out in the third round by Everton. In the League Cup, QPR were knocked out in the second round by Swindon Town. Prior to the season, QPR travelled to Turkey and Italy for two matches.
