QPR continued play in League Division 2, finishing second and gaining promotion to League Division 1. In the FA Cup, QPR were knocked out in the first round by Grimsby Town. In the League Cup, QPR were knocked out in the third round by Manchester City. In the LD Vans Trophy, QPR were knocked out in the semi final by Southend United.
