League Division 2: 5th (of 22) - 21 wins, 6 draws, 15 losses; 65 goals scored, 43 goals conceded

QPR continued play in League Division 2, where they finished just below the promotion positions. In the FA Cup, QPR reached the Final, losing to Tottenham Hotspur in a replay. In the League Cup, QPR were knocked out in the fourth round by Watford. At the beginning of the season, QPR had two tours. The first was a five game tour of Sweden and the second a two game tour of Ireland. At the conclusion of the season, QPR travelled to the USA for a two game tour.
