League Division 2: 2nd (of 22) - 24 wins, 13 draws, 5 losses; 81 goals scored, 37 goals conceded

QPR played in League Division 2, finishing second and thus returning to League Division 1. In the FA Cup, they were knocked out in the fifth round by Derby County. In the League Cup, QPR were knocked out in the second round by West Bromwich Albion. At the beginning of the season, QPR had a four game tour of Norway. This would be the first of numerous tours to Scandinavia over the next two decades.
