League Cup South (Group D): 2nd (of 6) - 5 wins, 1 draws, 0 losses; 25 goals scored, 7 goals conceded

QPR participated in the Football League South, finishing third again. At the end of the season was the League Cup South. Although QPR won five and drew one, they did not win the group as Reading had won all six of their matches. The group, which included six teams, only played six matches and during those six matches QPR did not play Reading. Reading proceeded to the semi-finals.
