Division 3 (South): (of 22) - 0 wins, 2 draws, 1 losses; 4 goals scored, 5 goals conceded
League South Group B: 1st (of 10) - 12 wins, 2 draws, 4 losses; 49 goals scored, 26 goals conceded
League South Group D: 2nd (of 10) - 10 wins, 3 draws, 5 losses; 38 goals scored, 29 goals conceded

QPR continued play in Division 3 (South) until it was abandoned after the third round owing to the outbreak of the Second World War. Following a small number of friendlies, teams in the south were broken into two Groups, QPR in Group B. The methodology of creating the second set of Groups is unknown and certainly not from the top half and bottom half from the two groups. QPR continued its good form, finishing second behind Crystal Palace. In the solitary Cup competition, QPR lost to Southend United in the War Cup.
