Division 3 (South): 11th (of 22) - 16 wins, 10 draws, 16 losses; 54 goals scored, 49 goals conceded

QPR continued play in Division 3 (South). The draw also continued along the lines of home and away matches almost adjacent. In Cup competitions, QPR had mixed success. The highlight was reaching the fourth round of the FA Cup, losing to Sheffield United. Owing to the consecutive set of home and away fixtures, I believe the following alterations to the original schedule existed:
2 Dec 1922 Brentford v QPR postponed to 11 Sep 1922 (i.e., moved forward)
3 Feb 1923 QPR v Plymouth Argyle postponed to 15 Mar 1923
24 Feb 1923 Bristol Rovers v QPR postponed to 26 Mar 1923
10 Mar 1923 Reading v QPR postponed to 21 Mar 1923
