Division 3 (South)

Division 3 (South): 3rd (of 22) - 22 wins, 9 draws, 11 losses; 61 goals scored, 32 goals conceded

This was the beginning of play in the League. QPR, along with a large number of other clubs, were invited to be part of the new Division 3 set up. The opponents did not really alter from the Southern League, but now there was the opportunity to promote to Division 2. Division 3 followed the other Divisions in having a fixture list whereby teams played each other home and away consecutively or almost. In the FA Cup, QPR were defeated in the second round by Burnley but had taken the scalp of Arsenal in the previous round. QPR also reached the semi-final of the London Challenge Cup.
