London League Division 1

QPR moved to Division 1 for their second season of the London League. They only played four matches with a record of one win and three losses. Owing to the build-up of fixtures created by too many cup games, many either abandoned or appealed forcing a replay, the club withdrew from the League, officially on 9 Feb 1898. QPR made numerous Cup runs, moving to the 3rd round of the FA Cup Qualifying, the 4th round of the London Senior Cup and the Semi-Finals of the Middlesex Senior Cup.
